Telford 10K

Telford 10k Online Entry

Statistically proven as the fastest 10k course in the UK, the Telford 10K is back for 2024. This is a generally flat 2 lap traffic free, well sheltered tarmac course using Telford Town Park, as well as the Silkin Way.

Course record set in 2019 Adam Craig 28-32, and in 2022 Samantha Harrison 31-10. Last year wave 1 had more runners under 30 minutes than any race ever within the UK (54 runners based on chip time).

Incorporating the 2024 England Athletics 10k Championships for the fourth time and Inter-Area Match. We have previously hosted an England Athletics Age Group Masters Qualifying event.

The event is open to runners of all abilities and particularly those wishing to achieve a personal best time.

Wave 1 is for Elite men and other men 28 to 40 minutes, although most are normally under 37 minutes.

Wave 2 is for Elite ladies and further men 31 to 41 minutes, this is also best for the faster Masters M&F.

Wave 3 is for Masses over 38 minutes to 90 minutes plus. There is no time limit in wave 3.

Elite athletes with qualifying times below, please contact us for automatic entry to Wave 1 for Men and Wave 2 for Ladies. We will allow any sub 32min ladies to run in Wave 1 if they wish to. Sub 30.30 for Men (or sub 14.30 for 5km), or sub 35.00 for Ladies (or sub 17.00 for 5km), shown recorded on Power of 10 website within the last 2 years. Please send name, date of birth (dd/mm/yyyy format), address & Club to Dave Mansbridge at telford10k@yahoo.co.uk for free automatic entry. Some emails have not been getting through so please send on messenger if confirmation not received within 3 days. Elite runners will not appear on the online entry list until early December.  

Cash Prizes to first 5 Men and first 5 Ladies in the Elite races only.

First place £400, Second £200, Third £100, Fourth £50, Fifth £30, for both Male & Female. £100 Course Record Prize.

Masters Prizes are: First man and first lady in each category: over 35, 40, 45, 50, 55, 60, 65, 70 and 75. Also first under 20.
