Although online entry for Wave 1 and 2 is full we will still be taking entries if you have a qualifying time below, for some months to come. 

Incorporating the 2023 England 10k Championships, the England Athletics Age Group Masters Qualifying event, and Inter-Area Match.

Race HQ and Parking is back at the Telford International Centre.

Wave 1. 10.30am. All Elite Men (28,29,30 min) and earlier online entries of Sub 40 minute Men (31 to 40 min)

Wave 2. 11.10am. All Elite Ladies, and further 31 to 40 min Men & Ladies online entries.

Wave 3. 11.50am. Masses over 38 minutes to 90 minutes+ (Men & Ladies)  

Elite athletes Qualifying times,  please contact us for free automatic entry to Wave 1 for Men, Wave 2 for Ladies.     Sub 30min30sec for Men (or sub 14.30 for 5km), or sub 35min for Ladies (or sub 17 for 5km), shown recorded on Power of 10 website within the last 3 years.

2021 Open Prizes to the first 5 Men & first 5 Ladies in the Elite race only, based on Gun time.

Masters: Prizes are, First man in each category M40, M45, M50, M55, M60, M65, M70. First Lady L40, L45, L50, L55, L60, L65, L70.  

General Information on Race entry.

It is the responsibility of the runner to be fit to compete on the day of the race. 

If you have any medical issues which you think may put you at risk when running a 10k race, then please see your GP prior to commencing a training programme. 

Runners who should seek medical advice from their doctor include those with an existing medical problems or any symptoms/signs. 

If you have flu or any other illness before the race it can take as long as a month to recover, so you should consider carefully whether or not you can run the race. 

As part of your structured training plan you should be able to comfortably run a 4 miles continuous training run, one month before the 10 km race.

Course measurement. Course has been remeasured (April 19th 2018) by an official UKA measurer and there is no change from previous years.

NUMBERS/CHIPS FOR ONLINE ENTRIES WILL ALL BE POSTED OUT LATER IN NOVEMBER/EARLY DECEMBER.

Online entry cost is still one of the lowest of any race with chip timing, £12 for UKA club runners, £14 unattached for others, with £1 booking fee.

CHIP TIMING. Disposable chips attached to race number with timing Mats at Start, Finish and halfway.

This race is a runbritain-licensed event and therefore your time is included in calculating your free runbritain handicap score.
